About The Book

So many Americans are frustrated by the debilitating and polarizing partisanship that characterizes federal and state government today. Each side just wants to grab more power because they believe they are righteous, and that the other party is evil. The nation’s government is out of whack—the ‘balance of power’ enshrined in the Constitution is no longer balanced. When this happens, factions tear apart the fabric of the country. The Founding Fathers feared unrestrained factions more than they feared foreign invasion. Notsince the Civil War has this problem so threatened the American Republic. Constitutional course corrections after the Civil War (the 13th, 14th and 15th Amendments) fixed some of the problems, but not all of them. Constitutional course corrections are again part of the solution to the current chaos and partisan bickering.
